Shaving the Weasles

Tis the season to say bye bye fur, hello hot dogs! You know its time to shave your cats when you come home from vacation and there is so much fur on your sheets where they sleep that you can no longer see the sheets.

We got our appointment to get them shaved. We even talked to the groomer who was doing it so that we could wait in the waiting room for our babies. The morning of the appointment we woke up at six and gave them a sedative. It was very entertaining to watch. Tom was wobbling and trying to walk around and even jump on tall objects. Steve followed behind him to make sure he didn't miss. Kym just fell asleep.

So Steve takes them to the groomer and she is not there. They call her and she says she never said she would come in early to do it and she wasn't going to get their till 9 or 10. Which was incredibly frustrating because they told us drop off was between 7 and 9 and they would do them first since we were going to wait. So Steve left and went to his parents and borrowed the animal clippers. He did a fantastic job and both of our boys are nice and clean shaven. Here are the entertaining results. Keep in mind the pile of fur is only a small fraction from Kym.
