Happy Birthday Teenie!!

July 25th was Teenie's 25th Birthday! It was sooo much fun.

Sara and I were asked to bring chips, fruit salad, pasta salad, and the cake. Teenie doesn't like cake so we decided to get an ice cream cake with Cookie Dough Ice Cream. When Sara was out getting groceries her mom gave her a recipe for a home made one so we decided to do that instead.

On Saturday we all met at the District to go see an afternoon show of the Proposal. It was a pretty funny show. It was a chick flick but kept me laughing and surprise surprise, I cried at some parts, but that's nothing new. Steve didn't come because he was really sick all weekend so I called him after the show and went and picked him up for dinner.

For dinner Logan made everyone lime chicken skewers from a weight watchers cook book with peanut sauce. It was pretty good. I brought potato salad and macaroni salad and Sara made a fruit salad with lots of peaches, blueberries, strawberries, bananas and peach yogurt. We also had BBQ chips, Baked Sour Cream and Cheddar chips, and Sun Chips.

We opened presents. Teenie got Boom Blox from me and Steve. Its a puzzle game for the Wii. Sara and Chris got her a bottle of plum wine from Wyoming and some neat tin squares that hang on the wall.

After presents we sang happy birthday and ate the delicious ice cream cake Sara and I made. It worked out really well and it was really easy. We took Cookies and Cream Fat Boy sandwiches and laid them in a baking dish, drizzled caramel and chocolate fudge over the top of them, Covered it in whip cream, and then drizzled more caramel and chocolate fudge on the top. It was tasty.

We then played BS. A really fun card game. Then went inside and played Mario Kart for several hours. After that we crashed there for the night, got up at 7 and went back to bed at home.

Later that day we met up with everyone at Ihop for breakfast. It was a lot of fun! Happy Birthday Teenie!
