The Joy of Conventions!

Sadly we didn't make it to Comic Con this year. We were planning on going again as a big group. Teenie, Logan, Sara, Beardman, Steve and I were all planning on going, meeting up with all of our friends from the Aspen Boards and even dressing up as DC characters, but unfortunately with Anastasia's Wedding and Sensory Sweep not paying us for five checks we couldn't afford to go this year.

It has been really fun reading all about it on Newsarama and seeing all the pictures that people have posted. I want to try and get a print collection going so I'm hoping I didn't miss out on too much this year.

Luckily there is always next year. We will be there. All of us including Anastasia and Robbie. Steve and I are planning on making this a yearly ritual. I love Comic Con it was so much fun last year and I can't wait to share that fun with Steve!

Next year I think we will try and do DC characters since we talked about that this year but then half of us didn't go. I'm going to go as Black Canary. Then there was a group that wanted to do Aspen characters. I plan on joining them if I can. I would love to be Kiani, but I will be any character they want me to be. I also plan on going as Namorita again next year. This time however I'm going to remember to put lotion on my face before the paint so that it doesn't peel. If I have time I would like to create an Abby Chase costume, but I will already have two costumes to make and Steve's. I have decided I should probably learn to sew since I'm getting so into cosplay.

We also want to go to Blizzcon. I wish we could have gone this year since its such a big year for Blizzard. They have Diablo III, Starcraft II, the new MMO they are working on. It wouldn't have been a great year to attend. I think we will try and go next year and hopefully make this a yearly ritual as well.
