A Half Day To Remember

Yesterday Steve and I both took a half day off of work. It was a really really good day. We went out to lunch at Jasmine and got Bento Boxes. We love eating there.

After lunch we went home and worked on our yard. It has been having a very hard time surviving this year. Steve taught me how to use the mower and I did a small section of the yard, then Steve showed me how to use the weed whacker to trim the edges along the fences. While I trimmed the edges he finished mowing. It took a while but our front and back yard look really nice minus all the dead patches.

When we finished the yard work Steve played Age of Conan and I watched some TV.

Steve had a dentist appointment with our new dentist at five so when he left for that I ran and returned some stuff to Ikea.

The Dentist was not the best experience for poor Steve. They couldn't get him to go numb so they had to give him lots and lots of shots. His Jaw is so sore. He may need to get a root canal. He goes back in August to see if he needs it.

Since the dentist was such a bad experience Steve wanted to have pizza for dinner. We ordered a delicious Brooklyn Style, half cheese, half black olive and tomato pizza and of course we had to get cheesy bread because its the best.

We ate our pizza and watched Naruto. They are going to start the Kakashi Gaiden story arc next and I'm soo excited to see the fourth in action. The last few episodes were really good. There was a lot of great fights and exciting things that happened.

After Naruto we finished reading our story "Dream's in the Witch House" by H.P. Lovecraft, Steve's favorite author. It was a really good story and we have been working on it for a week now. It was a bit longer than we expected.

I went to bed after that and Steve played Conan for a little longer. I had a few sips of his Amped energy drink when we were reading and it kept me up the whole night. In fact I'm still pretty buzzed from it. Which is good otherwise I would fall asleep.

It was one of the best days I have had in a long time. It was so much fun spending the day together.
