Steve's Birthday was the May 25th (I'm very late at posting this) It was a really fun day. We woke up in the morning and went out to breakfast at The Amber Restaurant. It’s this really great place that has amazing omelets and scones. Steve ordered an omelet and I had a scone and a side of hash browns.
After Breakfast we won't home and Steve opened his present from me and the boys. He got a 23" LCD Samsung Wide screen Monitor. I spent weeks trying to find the perfect one and after comparing several models and reading lots and lots of forums decided this was the perfect one for gaming especially for FPS. It’s very Shiny.
Steve tried out his monitor and tested it with Fear, Call of Duty, Team Fortress, WOW, Counter Strike and a few other games.
Later that evening we went out to dinner at Sucasa. Its Steve's favorite Mexican Restaurant. After dinner we came home and Steve's family came over and brought cake and ice cream and his present. They got him an amazing Printer. Its a three in one that can fax, scan and print and is designed to print high quality photos and art prints. Which is exactly what Steve wanted to use it for. Its even wireless. Its sooooo nice having a printer again. :)
A few days later we celebrated his birthday with a few of our close friends, Sara, Beardman, Teenie, and Logan. We all went out to dinner to Mimi's Cafe (a delicious restaurant) and then went and saw the movie Drag Me to Hell. It is now one of Steve's favorite horror films. It was very good and we have decided that Sam Raimi has an obsession with scarily strong old women and nasty things getting in people’s mouths. There were a few times where I gagged, which is pretty odd for me.
After the movie we went back to the house and played games and watched movies. We also opened the present. It was really cool. Everyone went in on mine and Steve's Birthday present and got us a Wii. We can't wait to get some games for it. We are planning on getting the new Punch Out next paycheck! It looks amazing.
A little after this we celebrated Steve's Birthday with my family. Traci and Moo and the girls all came over. Moo brought a delicious dinner of Lasagna and salad and We had delicious cake for dessert. Traci and the girls got Steve this super comfy green chair. Which was awesome because we needed some seating upstairs. Moo gave Steve a gift certificate to Barnes and Noble, one of his favorite stores, and he bought a book on Drawing the Dead/undead. It's his favorite book. He has hardly put it down since he got it. It has been very well loved.
It was a very good Birthday. Steve is now 28 years old.
